No Sale of Contact Information

I do not sell your contact information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or mailing address).

Our Position on “Selling” or “Sharing” Personal Information

  • I do not “sell” personal information for money.

  • I also do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act(collectively, “CCPA”), unless I specifically disclose otherwise and provide you with the right to opt out.

  • If I ever decide to “sell” or “share” personal information in the future, I will update this Policy, provide appropriate notice at or before the point of collection, and offer the right to opt out.

How We I Personal Information

I use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services;

  • Process transactions and send related information;

  • Communicate with you about our services, including confirmations, notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages;

  • Personalize your experience and provide content or features that match your interests;

  • Conduct analytics, research, and development;

  • Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents and fraudulent or illegal activities;

  • Debug to identify and repair errors;

  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce Terms, and protect my rights, users, and the public;

My service providers and I use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic and usage, and, where applicable, measure the effectiveness of our communications. You can modify your browser settings to block or delete cookies, though doing so may affect Site functionality.

Your Choices

  • Email Communications: You may opt out of marketing emails by clicking “unsubscribe” in those emails. You will continue to receive transactional or account-related emails.

  • Cookies/Analytics: Adjust browser settings and, where available, use the cookie banner settings to manage preferences.

  • Do Not Track: The Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA provides the following rights (subject to certain exceptions):

  • Right to Know/Access: Request that I disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information I have collected about you, the sources, purposes for collection, and categories of third parties to whom it was disclosed.

  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information I collected from you.

  • Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information I maintain about you.

  • Right to Opt Out: Request to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, if I engage in such activities. As stated above, I do not sell contact information and I do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: If I use sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by the CCPA, you may direct me to limit such use and disclosure.

  • Non-Discrimination: I will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

How to Exercise Your Rights:

  • Verification: I will verify your identity using reasonable methods appropriate to the nature of your request and the sensitivity of the information at issue.

  • Authorized Agents: You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. I will require proof of the agent’s authority and may require you to verify your identity directly.

Opt-Out Preference Signals:

  • If I engage in activities that constitute “selling” or “sharing” under the CCPA, I will honor a user-enabled, browser-based opt-out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control) to the extent required by law. Instructions will be provided on the Site if/when applicable.

“Shine the Light”:

  • California residents may request information regarding disclosures of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes, if any, once per calendar year. To request this information, contact at jmiller@sacspedlaw.com with “Shine the Light Request” in the subject line. Note that I do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes without your consent, and I do not sell contact information.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If I learn that I have collected personal information from a child under 13, I will delete it. I do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age without affirmative authorization.

Security

I use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to help protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

I retain personal information as described in “Personal Information We Collect (Notice at Collection).” When determining retention periods, I consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information; the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure; the purposes for which I process it; and legal requirements.

International Users

If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where my service providers and I operate, which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country of residence.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, and applications. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and I encourage you to review their privacy policies.
